Insurance Needs Assessment

Answer 12 straightforward questions and this tool scores your self-reported coverage readiness out of 100, then lists the specific gaps behind any "no" answers. It’s a fixed scoring formula, not AI, and nothing you answer is saved or sent anywhere.

The 12 questions

  • 1. If you own a car, do you currently carry auto insurance that meets or exceeds your state’s minimum liability requirements? (If you don’t own a car, answer yes.)

  • 3. Do you have an emergency fund covering at least 3 months of expenses?

  • 4. If anyone depends on your income (kids, a spouse, aging parents), do you have life insurance in place? (If no one depends on your income, answer yes.)

Educational information, not advice: This assessment is a simple, fixed-formula self-check based on your own answers; it isn’t AI, it doesn’t verify anything against a real policy, and it isn’t a substitute for a professional coverage review. Your "coverage readiness score" reflects only what you told this form, not an evaluation of an actual policy. Actual coverage needs, availability, and requirements depend on your insurer, your policy’s wording, and the laws of your state. Insurpedia does not sell insurance and does not recommend specific insurers.
