Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of insurpedia.org, including the lessons, terms, scenarios, tools, and learning accounts. They’re written in plain English on purpose. By using the site, you agree to them.
Education, not advice
Everything on Insurpedia is general education. It isn’t insurance, legal, financial, or tax advice, and it isn’t a recommendation to buy, change, or cancel any policy. What your insurance covers depends on your policy’s wording, your insurer, and the laws of your state. Before you make a decision, confirm the details with your insurer or a licensed professional. Insurpedia doesn’t sell insurance, and the people who run it aren’t licensed insurance agents, brokers, or advisers.
Learning XP and Insurance IQ
Learning XP reflects activity on the site, like completing lessons and using tools. Insurance IQ reflects how you’ve done on the questions and assessments here. Both are educational measures of what you’ve learned on Insurpedia. Neither one is a professional assessment, a qualification, or evidence that your own insurance is adequate.
Your account
You can use Insurpedia without an account, and your progress is saved in your browser. If you sign in with Google, we create a learning account so your progress is available on any device. Keep access to your Google account secure, since anyone who can sign in to it can sign in here.
